Not right? and feedback
Telling the developer when a score doesn't match the day, or about anything else.
Not right?
On any answer, on Today, a place, or any day in Forecast, tap Why? first. Once the reasons are showing, Not right? appears at the foot of the answer, across from the forecast's age. It opens a short sheet for saying the score is off.
- It shows the score you're reporting, so you can see it while you answer.
- Under What’s off?, tap any that apply: "Score too high", "Score too low", "The reasons don’t fit", "The weather was different" or "Something else". On a bare or thin day there's also "There’s snow here", and when best hours were shown, "Best hours are off".
- Leave Include diagnostics on to bring along the day's forecast and what was behind its score.
- Tap Send feedback. Mail opens a draft to support@snowpace.com. Say what you saw at the hill, and send it from your own account.
Cancel, or a swipe down, closes the sheet without sending anything.
Anything else
Help (the round ? at the top of any main tab), then Send feedback, for something broken, an idea, or anything else. Pick what it's about and, for a score, which place.
What's in the email
Your own words first. From Not right?, the email always names the place, the day, the score you saw and what Why? listed for it, since that's what the report is about. Then, if diagnostics are on: the app and iOS versions, your device model, your activities and settings, when data was last fetched, how long the app took to start, and for a place, its forecast and score, with the forecast attached as a file. Never your location, and never your other places. You see everything before it's sent, and can delete any of it. See Privacy and your data.
If Mail isn't set up on your phone, see Can't send feedback.
